Dr. Yashi Johnson has her doctorate in clinical transpersonal psychology and has been in private practice as a licensed marriage, family therapist since 1985. (California license MFT 20553)

She’s helped clients access deep levels of healing since working with children with cancer in the 1980s.  She knows the power of the Unconscious (or right cerebral hemisphere) as it offers healing metaphors through dreams, imagery, emotions, life challenges, and symptoms and sensations in the body.

Yashi received her AB and MA from Stanford University, another MA from California State University, Fresno, and her PhD from Rosebridge Graduate School of Integrative Therapy.  She has taught at City College of San Francisco, Fresno City College, and Cal State Fresno.  She holds a certificate in massage therapy and has studied Rosen Method Bodywork and Movement, Reiki, and Energy Healing.  She is a minister.

She’s also a happy wife and mother of four wonderful grown children and six young grandchildren.  She loves learning, birds, dolphins, swimming, and Life.
